A Project of Reference: LISA Pathfinder

The LISA Pathfinder mission objective is to demonstrate the suitability of the technologu that will be used on the future LISA mission to detect gravitational waves in space.
This project is a good reference of a custom designed unit for scientific payload instrument that includes several electronic designs modules functions (RF amplifiers, power electronics, signal conditioning, control loops, detectors..)

ERZIA has already provided three units (Flight Models and a Spare Model) that have been already integrated on the Acousto Optic Modulator, inside the Lisa Technology Package.
The objective of our units is to amplify a HF RF signal with very tight specifications in terms of power efficiency and noise. In detail:
- 3 stage SSPA
- Included variable attenuator for signal leveling
- Included power detector
- Linearizers for attenuation and power meter signals
- Harmonics rejection
- Optimized efficiency
The units are placed on the RF path that feed the Laser unit, having a critical role on the whole systems.
